PITTSBURGH, Pa – The Steel City Classic Tournament Committee has announced a special promotion with the Pittsburgh Pirates for the 2009 Steel City Classic. The Pirates will be offering outfield box seats for $13 per ticket for Friday (September 4, 2009) night’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals at a discount to all tournament entrants. The seats have a normal selling price of $20, which is a savings of $7 per ticket. Friday night’s game promotion is a Pirates Knit Ski Cap (seen below), which will be presented to all fans in attendance. Dollar Dog Night is also featured, where fans can get a hot dog for $1 each.

In addition, the Pirates also offer tours of the ballpark on that same Friday for anyone that is interested. Why not spend an entire day exploring everything this fine city has to offer?
The Pirates will also be offering an autographed baseball to be raffled off to ticket buyers.
